Homeschool Baking Class: Baking Bread

In this hands-on class, homeschool students will discover the joy of baking bread from scratch. We’ll cover the basics of mixing, kneading, proofing, and shaping dough, along with the science behind yeast and gluten. Students will learn how simple ingredients—flour, water, yeast, and salt—come together to create a warm, delicious loaf.
This class is beginner-friendly, fun, and interactive—perfect for young bakers eager to explore the art (and science!) of breadmaking. Each participant will take home their own dough to bake and enjoy at home.

· Parents will need to pay for a spot in class if they want to participate with their child
· Bring your own lunch as we will be taking a break
